This company have too many VPs for its size!
They really need to get rid of more VPs
1jcm,
The worst thing is who through all this is still there... let’s think about it...company gets into dire straights, promotes incompetent people, things get even worse, talent flee, those incompetent directors and VP stays, things get deeper into the hole... I wonder where the problem is... must be employees right? After all we keep promoting people and the situation does get better... can’t be mis- management
@1jcm, you are hoping it doesn’t become what you described?! Too late because we are already there.
It has been like this for long time even under Honeywell. It is much worse now because Resideo can’t stand on its own two feet (can’t hide how bad things are from Wall Street). Bunch of clueless people running show. These same clueless VPs are deciding what to do along with BCG...endless cycle of the blind leading blind
Fake news. Unless the OP is in HR or an exec they have no clue what they are talking about. Really dumb post that wastes everyone's time again.
1czl... thank you for being the voice of reason and providing more accurate info. Still not good news but it is what it is.
I once worked for a corp that did this every year (i.e. restructuring and layoffs). It was a horrible environment and, even though I survived every layoff, it was horrible to see friends and co-workers leave year after year. Management and Execs were "game of throning" it with their political jockeying, similar to how SH and AB treat each other. The company culture was terrible as a direct result of constant management changes, reorgs, layoffs, etc. That kind of org can never retain talent due to a lack of stability and direction. Hoping Rezi does not turn into that or i'm gone.
It's not 40% of global positions. What does that even mean? "Global Positions"? It's roughly 15-20% across the company (and that is an average). Some teams will have deeper cuts (70%) and some less (like 0%). There will be a press release by end of week. This kind of RIF gets reported in the news.
is the D1p5h1t saying its fake news the same HR troll who said less than 10 people were being cut today yet the company sent a "manager toolbox" to all managers company wide. Makes sense you would send something like that if a handful of people were being cut.
Fake news
It’s fake news from Austin that 40%
Not true.
