Not unprecedented. Target replaced a Kmart in Boston's South Bay shopping center way back in 2004. I don't expect Kmart to leave anything behind after liquidation, so Target would be starting from scratch in an empty big box.
So, Target is about to have a store stuck in the 80's with outdated technology that freezes up every 10 seconds? That'll be fun for those workers!
Just another reminder that others can succeed and make tens of billions with the same resources that Eddie used to lose tens of billions
This could be the start of something big.
