Didn't Raleigh just have several bloodbath rounds of cuts across multiple departments? Nowhere in the USA is immune from job cuts.
Agreed that most of Raleigh is useless. Anyone worth a dang got let go
According to my family member who got laid off in November, the Burlington office does everything and the people in Raleigh are pretty much useless. But thats the "home Base" so they dont touch them during layoff time.
@3zmw+1384qZrO: likely more off shore casualties courtesy of khorey.
Development, possibly some support, management. Three floors in that building. Basement was somewhat inhabited, albeit not much space for workers. First floor was almost entirely vacant. Second floor had a normal population for the size and number of workers.
What business function(s) were performed out of the Burlington VT office?
Did anyone actually work out of that office?? I thought everyone worked remotely to avoid talking with management.
Only a handful of senior management at the Burlington, VT location are aware of the closure plans. All employees have been told is that there is a hiring freeze. Around 30% of the employees will be given the option to relocate. The others will get the pink slip.
Is that office aware of this? When was this put out?
Closing an office doesn’t mean people lose jobs. It is cost saving to have employees work remote. I thought the same just happened to Colorado?
When was this put out, and by who?
How many employees are in that location?
