How much money is being made by friends and family on stock trades
Are members of Congress trading the market U BET?
Never let a good crises go to waste.
Sooner? Really?
Boeing could not be reached for comment. That's because they fell unconcious at the news.

"I see hundreds of 737 people wandering around the Everett plant doing absolutely nothing."
Meanwhile people at the Puyallup plant are being told they may have to be bussed to Everett. Some of these with 30 years seniority while others with less than 5 years get to stay. It makes no sense
I see hundreds of 737 people wandering around the Everett plant doing absolutely nothing. How can there not be layoffs coming?
The company is sinking, stock dropping, getting loans, and just like the Board of Miscreants, the Union got its Blood Money.
What is that, about $14.45 per life, yeah, that's pretty good.
So, luck you
Well all Salary got screwed on their bonuses - so luck you
Ok you got my attention, what’s happening in Mose Lake?!?!!?

Dude you have no idea, the Max may not be off the ground til next year.
You haven't herd whats going on in Mosses Lake? I'm not going to release that info on this website but if you know anybody over there go ask.
The Layoff cloud is over the Puget Sound
I work for a metals distributor we are having layoffs due to large inventories of aluminum and steel on hand.
I got layoff in 2001,Boeing needs cash. It will cut workers (iam & speea members) you will at least 10000 people get the boot
I know they are not my friend. The point being, they can't layoff. They need people. If people leave they are SCREWED.
Let's run a what if shall we...
Let say they layoff Friday 1/24. Everyone off the rolls March 26th. Let's say they lay off 10k. Then let's say they start calling back in July to deliver aircraft and restart the line. Let's say in that 3 months 30% of the people laid off found other employment (it's a hot job market for skilled employees). Boeing has to deliver like 500 aircraft AND get the line back up. And they would be 3000 people short. They would be screwed.
Oh and I did not want to mention you and your cohorts have been predicting layoffs for 10 month (unsuccessfully), maybe you have been licking too many windows.
And the least of your failures is the fact that they release quarterly earnings on Wed 1/29, not Monday.

"Am I the only one who noticed the statement in the story that said no layoffs?
It's hard to find, its buried and the first statement of the second paragraph. I know, I know, literacy is a challenge, I've learned you don't read the contract either before you vote on it.
So to help, the second paragraph is below.
"Boeing will not furlough or lay off workers because of the shutdown, but pain will ripple through its supply chain and could hurt America's economic growth. The shutdown will make restarting production and recovering from the crisis more difficult for Boeing once it finally gets permission for the plane to fly again."
Your a damn fool if you think Boeing isn't laying off, it's called lip service wait till Monday when Boeing releases the 4th quarter losses.
You see the stocks falling like a 737 Max? You see the loans Boeing is taking out to pay you and your buddies?
Look up when Boeing laid off back in '94, billions in the hole and 28,000 folks losing there jobs.
Keep believing the lies. Boeing is not your friend they don't care about no one.

VLO are the answer for this huge problem!
There are many people who are ready to leave and take 6 months pay. Some say Boeing can't afford this? i think they can't afford NOT to.
Welps there goes my plan for 2020, saving my bonus... & selling off the truck, boat, & toys.... I should be good until Boeing calls me back in summer fingers crossed
