I got a package regarding COBRA couple of weeks ago. It states something about expressing an interest to sign for it before March or you will lose the option?
My understanding is that we have 6 months healthcare and then COBRA will kick in for 1.5 years.
I don't expect to be unemployed for 6 months but does anyone have an idea what's going on?
My guess is that I got their typical letter and by end of 6 month will get an additional notification from COBRA that fits our situation.

Its for vision. The described benefit should say VSP = Vision Service Plan or something like that.
Most likely it's for your vision insurance. You sign up for vision now. Only Medical and dental insurance was offered for the 6 months.
