This company is going down and it's going down fast. Everybody still working here should be actively looking for a new job. Don't allow yourself to be caught unawares. It is so much easier to find a job when you already have one instead of having to find it while unemployed.

Working in GE and eligible for retirement but have not hit eRetire button yet,
and then they lay you off ?
Is Cobra the only option for healthcare ?
or
Can you get carry your existing Medical Benefit out of your own pocket to Medicare age ?
Just thinking carefully ahead as possibilities of getting screwed to be aware of !

Currently not hearing of any further reductions coming this year. All is good for now.
