The bottom line is that if you're in a volume role, you should be looking for alternate employment. The company is moving volume roles overseas where the value proposition to the company is higher so they can lower operating expenses.
With less clients, due to the divestiture from the last couple years, they'll need fewer support roles to service less clients; roles like client partnerships. Once they've cut volume and support roles, they don't need as many administrative positions, e.g. HR, leadership roles. That's basically what we saw in the last two rounds of layoffs.
If the company direction is to continue to move volume roles overseas, reducing operating expenses through US headcount and real estate savings, due to location consolidation, it serves to reason that more volume, administrative, and leadership roles could be the target of any future cuts, should they come.
the answer was given in their 2018 Annual Report. We are living their blueprint right now. Everything is carrying out the way they planned as outlined int he 2018 report.
Double the size of India, which is happening. Most of the employee in the U>S> are just shadow employees for the Offshore locations. We are just backup at this point.
Now the 2019 Report should be coming out. Read every page if you're still there and this will lay of the future. They talk in code so read closely for discernment.
I know what I'm talking about bcs they are following the blueprint of other companies that went offshore, but Alliance is doing it in a more inhumane way.
I wouldn’t come here to see anymore. It’s the same person from the call center going nuts
Meh. If it happens, it happens.
Probably not doing anything more until the new CEO starts in Feb. Honestly, reading these posts, it sound like the same handful of people from the call center that don't really understand the business.
I didnt elaborate as to what dept in westminister i just stated they would TARGET westminister next..
Please read for understanding
If you're saying they are targeting westminster next, almost all of those teams aren't in westminster... so, that doesn't make sense. It's not a support site. It's almost all care and collections. Almost all of our support teams were wiped back in October and when they restructured roles and absorbed them into different areas.
They already pretty much did the next round by announcing the westerville move to easton
They claim 600 to be relocated by about 400 will go at best.
Best next round will be 1.27 or close to the last week of jan. As i predicted 1..7.2020 many weeks ago.
Sorry i was a day off or so.
But they will continue firing throughout the year. Usuing at the beginning or end of each business quarter.
They will also start targeting next westminister..this year.
Departments: human resources. Reduce care reps, shave mid mgt, acct protection and i/t dept as they will outsource h/r and i/t and acct protection to offshores
Its so silly tonbe working at a place like that
Granted i can see if u cant help it.
But i hope.folks wake up and leave
It seems just down right criminal what theyre doing
That makes sense. ... Earning call is 01/30. The more they can cut before then, the better it looks.
We want to know who the next people will be. Just rip the band aid off.
I've read that but what departments, sites, etc. What's the target?
1/27
