Should of closed that warehouse years ago. One of the reasons our store close. They could never get the right merchandise on the trucks, damage and shortages, arriving late, the place was a joke. Their customer service was rude also, good riddance.

Well now we don't have to worry about 2 warehouses in Manteno Kmart/Sears.... We do not have any....

Clearly I can't read dates 😆. This is the story I should have posted. Sad for the 130 losing jobs.

That article is from last year; that was the same time they moved all the RRCs except Delano into a corresponding Kmart RDC. That being said, considering that there were so few stores of either format serviced by Manteno, it makes sense to eliminate it (even though it will take forever for product to arrive to those stores). The stores in Ohio/Michigan can be serviced by Morrisville, and the others can be serviced by Lawrence.

Here is something from the local newspaper. Seems logical to me. Why would they need two huge warehouses for Kmart/Sears?
