ACCOUNTABILITY?! When ADS has created and nurtured the bad behaviors from their so-called valued customers? What a joke! For years the phone associates have endured the abuse from customers who been trained to act unprofessional as a means to get what they want. Yes, the customers are afforded the privilege to call customer care and shouldn't have the right to abuse the employees, yet they do and ADS doesn't put in place an EFFECTIVE process to sanction these bad behaviors. It's 50/50 accountability for both ADS and its customers. So before anyone assigns blame to just one party, be sure to take a look at the bigger picture and present ALL the facts!

Where is the accountability for the customer? They pay their balance 1 day late they should know to expect a late fee. Paperless billing doesn't matter. They can call customer service if needed. They shouldn't assume every bank is the same. There's also the Terms and Conditions that a RESPONSIBLE person should at least look through whenever they open a credit account. The cutoff time for payments should be midnight.

Other banks do that, too, but what I never liked was how supervisors would get an attitude about it. 🙄

Ive seen so many accounts where a customer will pay their entire credit card balance off. They pay it 1 day late.. then unknowingly comenity slaps a late fee on.. then anither late fee for not paying the initial late fee and it continues for months.
Meanwhile, the customer thinks they are in the Clear not knowing they are being accessed late fees on a paid off account.
Some dont know bcs some are set up on paperless billing.. they rig the system 2 not notify them when a bill is due.
