The so called news article is click bate taking advantage of the Max debacle
To Drive higher traffic in order to generate higher Add Revenue.

The order is valued at $5.6 billion based on list prices, and deliveries of the
110-seat CS100 jets will begin in {2018}, Montreal-based Bombardier said

These are not current events. A lot of people are losing the ability to read
along with a loss of comprehension and critical thinking.
Many people are now passive receptors accustom to being spoon fed “news”

Wow, just wow. If you are going to stir the pot, know what the hell you are talking about.

  1. The C-series does not compete in the same category as current 737s and A320s. It is smaller and would be closer to a 737-100 which most are out of service and those still flying are freighters.
  1. The C-series is not owned by Bombardier anymore and has not been for a couple of years. It is majority owned by Airbus (duopoly anyone?). It is now known as the A220
  1. The C919 just annouced late last year that they are at least 2 years, maybe 3 years out from certification. Oh, AND it is the same size as the A220 (AKA the c-series) and therefore does not compete in the same category as the current 737s or NGs.

So, thanks for playing. We have some nice parting gifts for you.

Xiamen Airlines has operated only Boeing aircraft since it started in the 1980s.
Now the Chinese carrier is turning to rival Airbus SE, inviting bids from leasing
Companies to supply 10 A321neo jets.

They haven’t even notified the suppliers of what to do and when, meanwhile.
China ends the Boeing-Airbus duopoly this year with it’s COMAC C919. ALSO, “Bombardier claims the CSeries will be 15 percent cheaper to operate than the current Boeing 737 and Airbus A320 models, and 10 percent cheaper than the new MAX and neo models. It will also be significantly quieter.” See: https://www.seattletimes.com/business/boeing-aerospace/bombardier-beats-out-boeing-airbus-for-big-delta-order/ for this quote.

FAA re-certification appears unlikely in February or March, April is more realistic.

Reality is a new concept to the Boeing board of miscreants as they sober-up from their decade’s long debaucherous binge of arrogance, wealth and power.
As they slowly awaken from their stupor it is still un-clear if they grasp the extent of the damaged they have caused to so many thousands of families now and for
A decade more to come. This is just on the jobs side of their calculated disaster.
Then there’s unspeakable horror they visited upon so many more that will never
be made whole. Entire families wiped out so they could line their pockets.

A calculated risk, but not to them as the Boeing board of miscreants still profits
from their very own calculated disaster, with the new CEO David Calhoun getting
A $7 million payout if he successfully gets the 737 Max flying again.
As if he is actually going to do anything other than suk the cok of Wall Street

LOL I hope you are joking. Boeing reported negative orders. Spirit layed off 2800 and had their credit downgraded to junk. Get it together and connect the dots. You don't just bounce back immediately from this. Boeing is going to take years to recover and may never return to it's former status
