Thread regarding Alliance Data Systems Corp. layoffs

When did we become a transitional company for people looking for a better job?

None of the new hires that I know - and I know quite a few of them - seem to have long-term plans at ADS. They are basically here until something better comes up or until they have enough experience for a specific job they are aiming for, outside of ADS of course.

When did that happen? When did we become an afterthought when it comes to building a career?

Again i find it comical you stay on here as much as i do. After you get me blocked for a couple hrs you then make a "concerned" post

This thread is just the same person having a conversation with themselves. Posting a question and then answering it yourself. So clever.

Every job is a "transitional" job for someone. Not everyone that works at a particular job is planning on making it their career....unless they went to school and earned a degree for that particular job.

i find it comical anyone thought of that place as a career
its more rewarding working at mcdonalds than there.
at least you are giving someone something they needs like food and nourishing them
that place just crosses their fingers hoping someone pays their bill late then lie to them
thats not rewarding

ok, did the job put you on assignment to post this? how about you get off your a– and find out by talking to employees yourself
how about that?
your dumb company can start making it better by actually talking to the employees
you know the ones you look down on that make you money so you can sit on their company sponsored cell phones and get phones for your fam members and charge it to the company account
