Boeing Co. is considering either suspending or cutting back production of the 737 MAX amid growing uncertainty over the troubled plane’s return to service and could disclose a decision as soon as Monday, according to people familiar with the matter.

The thing is I feel very bad for Muilenberg. This whole 737 max issue is a byproduct of the James McNerney days.

He’s the only reason no layoffs for nine months and we are still incurring debt to build max planes. His GE replacement will be much worse.
