Some id–ts commented on this post nothing is going to happen everything is good at teradata . After RP exit they should just shut f— up and look for other jobs I mean driving Uber or cleaning up toilets because you don’t know sh– about technology or teradata .
Unity is a woeful solution. The lack of real enterprise replication and High Availability is what will finally k–l the Teradata database let alone the Vantage mvp mess.
why on earth would Unity get hit again??? If they axe anymore people, it would bring its production to a grinding halt. The program couldn't survive long term.
Look at the job postings... They will will tell all. There are very few in engineering... If they don't open more in January, that is clear sign more is coming...
And if the new CEO doesn't show up by March... Hold out for a merger if you can.
If you're going to post sh– at least make it sound like it might happen.
Where are you getting this from? The information I have is quite opposite. No layoffs planned.
And why would you listen to VL or any of the management trolls who took us down this path?
I heard HR and what’s left of Learning are taking more hits.
Well Vic does he even know what he was talking about in the town hall .
What area are you hearing this from?
Would they really go after database team after the townhall recently VL made it seem like cloud investment is still planned but that Teradata’s bread and butter of database needs to be invested in the generate that cash as we move to cloud over time?
