I can confirm layoffs across multiple companies, last minute, people marched out. This is disgusting way to treat people.

Emerson is laying off veterans? You mean World War II veterans?
"Strategic" layoffs happening in the Houston-area. IDK how or why but new folks are being brought in and veterans are being laid off.
A lot of high level resignations. The clowns are still there in full force. I left before it got nasty. I suggest everyone find a new home as soon as possible.
I spent the better part of my career at Emerson, and now I wish I hadn’t. I am sorry for what’s happened to all of the hard working men and women who have dedicated their professional lives to this company only to be let go right before the holidays and without notice. I’ll be leaving next week voluntarily. Best of luck to you all, a lot of really great and talented people.
Voluntary resignations at the VP level? I’ll believe it when I see it. The majority of them are egotistical MBAs with inflated titles, so I’m not entirely sure where they’d go and still keep the wool over their eyes. Maybe that’s just me though!

We had some layoffs at Appleton in Rosemont as well. Not sure of the full scope. Also heard we might be sold off, so who knows.
