Why would Citi buy us? The new guy coming in February is from Citi. He quit Citi. I doubt this is happening. Many years ago we were almost bought out by Blackstone, but the deal fell through near the end as Blackstone didn't want to assume all of our outstanding debt, which was substantial. Guessing it still is. I doubt there is a line to stand in to buy this failed company and all of its debt.
I would not at all be surprised if we were bought out by Citi but the names in outlook have been plausibly explained that they have been there for years. There are others from other organizations as well.
Type Citi into outlook... there are quite a few names with a very telling prefix.

That rumor went around on this site and was debunked like 2 weeks ago, catch up! Don't be lazy, read the old threads before starting a new one.
