In the 2010 case Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission (FEC), the most sweeping expansion of corporate rights yet, the Supreme Court cited Bellotti in its highly controversial 5-4 ruling that political speech by corporations is a form of free speech that is also covered under the First Amendment.
As former president Obama warned this will “open the floodgates for special interests—including foreign corporations—to spend without limit in our elections.” It also opened the floodgates for domestic corporations to do the same. So, it is not at all surprising that US employees are at the mercy of layoffs and are worked to death and outsourcing to foreign companies is common practice.

@12rZ9t2j-8tko: What?
Haha, CDO!!! It made last recession can cause tons of Americans homeless. Now the same thing will happen to Allscripts? Whoever makes this title is totally an id–t.
How does the board not chuck out the management that has been bleeding the company for the last six years. They got rid of Glen fairly quickly. Wish I could make millions s—ing at my job the way this leadership does! What’s wrong with corporate America one o one.
Does the consolidation include CHMB in Lisle?
Sounds like the company is in financial trouble. That does not bode well. Maybe the head of CDO should cut her trip to Israel.
Chicago offices are consolidating. It’s confirmed. It’ll start in March. I’m not sure of the other details.
Mart = MDRX HQ
What is the Mart?
All or just the Mart?
Heard rumors that Chicago area offices will be consolidated.
Yes. Shuttering a couple of locations too.
