After an amazing two and half years at Juniper Networks, I am going back to Google as the VP and Head of Global Networking. I am really proud of what team Juniper has achieved in the last few years: Gartner leadership quadrant for datacenter, leadership in Telco NFVi with #Contrail, first to deliver 400G in the industry, launch of Contrail Enterprise Multicloud, launch of a complete #sdbranch portfolio, acquisition of Mist, launch of JunOS evolved with SONiC, and massive progress in the Aurrion Silicon Photonics program...the list is long.
Juniper has absolutely amazing technologies, and more importantly, a world class team.
Leaving all of this goodness behind was not an easy call but building out hyperscale infrastructure has been my true calling. So I am going back to my roots. Juniper is in great hands with Raj Yavatkar taking over as the CTO. Raj brings in decades of experience in networking to accelerate the transformation that Juniper has embarked upon. Congratulations Raj!
Last but not the least, Rami Rahim has been a phenomenal leader at the helm of Juniper’s transformation. He has shown incredible trust in me throughout my tenure here, and I am truly thankful for that.
So..exploring what's #beyondhyperscale of networking is my next adventure. Hit me up with ideas!

No way BK resigned ... he has been in the exit lounge for about 6 months.....

RR publicly acknowledged several times the BK superfits the CTO role. Now BK resgined on his own. By this, BK publicly acknowledged that Juniper doesn't fit for him and RR won't fit.

He is interested in building hyperscale things at google rather leading hyperscale portfolia, switching, routing, security, SDWAN, NFV, SDN..etc? what a joke?

What sort of reorgs and layoffs are happening due to BKs leaving?

Koley was hired at Juniper to facilitate selling network infrastructure to Google. Presumably he had connections and know how. That didn't go so well for Juniper. He bails after taking $8.7 million in pay. Then he goes back to Google with networking knowledge that he got from Juniper and gets the networking boss role. I guess it's a nice gig if you can get it. I'd be asking for my money back if I was Rami.

With so many success stories, how come JNPR still stuck in $20?

Ok, I thought the OP put that in as a joke as while this may have been the idea it is far from fruition. Everything listed there as a success has totally missed the mark as part of their GTM.

Can some one tell me following.

1) leadership in Telco NFVi with #Contrail –> what is juniper's revenue in this market segment

2)first to deliver 400G in the industry, –> Revenue please

3) launch of Contrail Enterprise Multicloud, –> Revenue please

4) launch of a complete #sdbranch portfolio, – revenue and market share
5) . acquisition of Mist . –> what is the status and revenue growth
6) launch of JunOS evolved with SONiC, – What is this?
7 ) . massive progress in the Aurrion Silicon Photonics program . –> What is the progress

GOOGLE is always an exceptional(!) company to land in. No doubt. The king! But you can't tell me that the downgrade to VP from CTO of a "big" company doesn't sting. But you can only do so much with rock (political toxicity and a ghost ship of talent left from attrition).

God bless. At least his stress level will be exponentially(!) less with vastly more talented/motivated people, and he'll still earn his multi 7 figs.

First world problems, I guess. Actually, in his case, .00000001% of humanity problems. LOL.
