The big push is for appeals and grievances to train OFFSHORE lay techs who hardly can understand English let alone complex medical terms. They are saying diversity but the India/Philippines staff is in line to replace professional nurses and techs. The quality and plan is To cut costs and to undermine the customers. The process is cut and pastE the previous level of denials which gives little chance of overturn and a true re-assessment as per contracts. It is heartbreaking that Maximus and US government regulations are twisted and side stepped by UHC. It is more upsetting that American jobs are being lost. Shame !

It is urgent, as we are losing our jobs, being replaced. This is very different than we need help yet can not find enough talents on american soil.
Any one knows how to start a petition of keeping the jobs here in USA? have a well draft letter on this daring situation and facts on Optum/UHC replacing US jobs by offshoring to India/others and on-shoring HIB replacements. So that people can easily click, select representatives and send.
Yeah that s—s. Training your own replacements who will work for slave wages but provide little else other than minimal knowledge. Accents are so heavy members who cannot hear as it is, will be frustrated from the start of any contact.
Everyone effected by this needs to write their representatives and even the White House. I know of several that are doing this and writing them over and over to ensure they get through. UHG should be forced to keep these jobs within US borders and not turn to bottom rung workers in the Philippines.
That’s a great point, if they only cut and paste denials, then this company better get ready for some major lawsuits and explain their process. Since most of us have their benefits as employees (at least for now) then make sure when you apply for an appeal or over turn a denial that you understand it’s some off shore person, who isn’t properly trained working that appeal. Threaten to sue and ask for management to respond, who can speak proper English. Can’t wait for medical offices to start to try to deal with this!
Hmmmmm....so much for UES!!!
