Softlines Vendor Payments

Hearing Transform hasn’t paid any apparel vendors in close to two months. Anyone know what’s going on?

Transform is preparing to shut down all remaining Sears and Kmart stores after Christmas.

Off topic, but doesn't Mr. Ed the horse have better teeth than Eddie?

@12k6VFzd-pqs So your kind of saying Mr. Ed can't get a happy ending?

My theory is that Eddie didn't get Guaranteed Satisfaction at some point and vowed to destroy Sears.

Eddie Lampert's track recording of operating Sears and Kmart stores into the ground over the last decades is proof. A blind man can see that.

Prior to the October bankruptcy, vendors were stopped being paid in July.

Is there another bankruptcy in the works?
Why does Eddie keep putting money in and buying stores to go bankrupt?

What proof do you need? The scaling back now is even worse than when Old Sears went bankrupt. Non-liquidating stores are empty. Who closes a third of your stores during the holidays? That's throwing in the towel before the fight's begun.
