The current BB gun would have been replaced in any normal company.... can’t deliver anything and has shown again and again that he throws people under the bus. Fitting that he gets thrown out and replaced by one from his own team....He has been waiting for a long time for his millions like all Edgar’s faithful... hopefully won’t get any $ for messing Resideo
I was never a fan of Michael Jordan...I think he was an overrated basketball player. He talked a better game than he was capable of actually delivering. It was proven again and again. Even at previous teams he never really actually did anything but talked it up. He pushed team mates under the bus..even back then.
If the "BB" gun Moobs got for Hanukkah last year was more assertive maybe Moobs wouldnt be looking to replace it....
Next week should be interesting. Rumor is Moobs and his human flesh light will be in Melville all week.
Don't be surprised if a new "leader" is put in place to "lead" security software and they have no skill other than oral capabilities.

That pellet shooter brought his replacement through Rolle. Moobs thanks him for doing so as the replacement showed better abilities, skills and knowledge.... the worst would be to give the pellet shooter a package of millions like all of those that were the followers of the former CTO
Melville in the next few weeks will include a new architecture leader that has demonstrated over and over he can replace the current one that is viewed as naive and incompetent and obviously can’t control his own turf.
That new person has the full confidence of moobs and has consistently demonstrated he knows better that the current warm body in a chair whose sole achievement was to be part of the CTO incompetent mafia...

Spot in on both types. You’re right the most dangerous are the betas thinking they can be alpha while all they are is a portable active vacuum pump with a wide PSIA range with built in malfunctioning transducer.

Total sycophants in the management layer. Out of these, we at least know how the predictable ones will behave. For example, Moobs and his gaming crew are completely predictable.
Moobs will fire you if you go against him in a meeting and his fixers will deep-six you for something stupid you said. Very predictable. I get it and I can zip it around them to save my back.
However, the ones that are not so apparent are the really dangerous ones. I would stay FAR away from RSI and HDG. They are the typical insecure beta male types who could never be the alpha, you know.
These two will attack you out of nowhere while still asking you how your family is doing.
9qyv - I don't see any risk of us closing our doors, but I do see rough times ahead of us until someone can step up and lead this business. We need to quit telling our customers what they need and go back to the days of delivering and supporting what they want. The only growth that we are showing is through ADI, because they are able to sell products from that compete with our products and solutions. Why doesn't somebody at a senior level take the time to look at why that is happening and focus our design/production resources in the right place? If you spend any time talking to customers or ADI salespeople, you will get real answers.
9ole - this is a main reason we will be out of business. We have incompetence surrounded by ultimate yes people who are as clueless and will never say no or tel bad news. It will all be lollipops and rainbows up until the point we close our doors.
Does anyone notices that all the management layers are getting filled with sycophants???? I keep hearing about the same people that are either incompetent, backstabbers, or both to the point that I wonder who is left with integrity or common sense!
Even in the lay-off to come in Austin most directors managed to protect their own fleshligths which makes sure the organization continue to get filled with more and more incompetents. The latest is a trial balloon to set up a director in Austin as also a fellow for his great knowledge where he was teaching a fellow about algorithms and how to fix geofencing. Wow....

That's not true. There is NOTHING BUT schedule issues brought about by the fact nothing can be delivered. Yes, look at buoy. We said it was "released" but it really wasn't and needs to be re-engineered from scratch. Not to mention we cant get any software working with it or with ANYTHING.
Yes, Moving the folks from the dirty sub-continent will fix everything. its not loke they are a huge part of the reason for our constant failures...oh wait...

There are no schedule issues - look at buoy and numerous other products all interconnect with an uptime of 100%. Naysayer have their heads turned anti clockwise . This constant cribbing that turns into a bandh are so distracting. Development of new functionality is occurring forthnigthly .
Our management has recently moved to Austin to prepone the main projects as the local can’t get it done management wise and are not capable of doing the needful, by following the example of our toppers.
Just go to LinkedIn and see who posts about “fake” new products and - amazingly .... they are also the top slacker users... interesting isn’t?

When will we find out what kind of golden parachute they are going to give him? Based on what he has done since he has been here, I believe it will be small (or at least should be)
well then lets focus on getting Moobs canned which will happen soon enough as he is running out of time to actually deliver something. HDG is cannon fodder and will be the first under the bus when things go south for Moobs (hopefully soon). I can't see Don Cazzo being around much longer now that Mikey was shown the parking lot especially if anyone with a clue gets hired up high.
