Wow. Just wow. And executives wonder why they're hated.

The salary.com website had some shocking numbers about the executive who loves the heart of Allscripts so much.

Executive Compensation
As EVP, Chief Client Delivery Officer at ALLSCRIPTS HEALTHCARE SOLTNS, [executive name] made $2,983,778 in total compensation. Of this total $502,250 was received as a salary, $348,184 was received as a bonus, $0 was received in stock options, $2,130,774 was awarded as stock and $2,570 came from other types of compensation. This information is according to proxy statements filed for the 2018 fiscal year.

You should review her history. She previously was a manager at E&Y, and a manager of a department @ UPMC. Her total comp in those roles couldn't have been more than $300k.

She joined Allscripts and missed every single expense and revenue target since being hired, but saw her comp explode to $3m. That's impressive!

The Chief Client Delivery Officer position is total joke along the person in that position. It nothing more than a high priced executive draining the company.

I'm not defending it but high executive pay is not unique to Allscripts.

The CDO position was most likely created, by the higher ups, so that they have a scapegoat when things go boom at the client sites.
