Thread regarding Teradata Corp. layoffs

How bad is it ?

How many more posts are there on this thread than any other company ? Does Teradata win yet another benchmark ?

How many times have management tried to intervene and had their posts deleted ? M.e. keeps on knocking but he never gets in...probably need another digital strategy for that concept.

Perhaps the reason that it’s gone so bad at Teradata has something to do with the management (let’s not call them the Leadership Team or LT, it’s clearly not what they do) ?

But then that’s a bit too easy a target for all the blame because many of the incompetent managers, ‘leaders’ and VPs were hired by the people, hired by the retired guy that came back at the Board’s request.

How many ‘execs’ has Vic hired and fired now ? It’s easy to lose track...I guess as long as he makes money and his grandkids are fine, who cares - right ?

So if anyone really gives a sh– anymore, start firing the halfwits who claim to run the business - at least that would be a start and an indicator that someone might understand things have gone south.

And if you can’t do that, perhaps the best thing would be to hand the decisions over to some responsible adults....?

Wow, I wonder how much advertising Teradata had to commit to for that article in Analytics Insight?

Nothing is going to change with the do-nothing board and executives.

The CEO has no knowledge of the product or industry and surrounds himself with similar people that have no knowledge. It's ridiculous.

It’s chaos internally. Can’t pick a direction or make a decision.

You are dead on. Get rid of all the incompetents director level and up and watch things turn around.

TD is especially heavy in the soft areas such as marketing and PR. Get rid of the dead weight and use outside agencies.
