I worked for GM and unfortunately now Ford, I drive a 4 dr Jeep Wrangler, never drive anything else. Now going to work at FCA.
Ford is run by clowns honestly, GM is superior and that is saying allot.
Ford dosent make anything that is exciting, they never really have.

Ford? Not so much. There is so still much dead weight across the entire organization, Ford is not going to be any kind of leader in anything anytime soon. Except maybe recalls.
The SRD did nothing to help the company with rumors of more layoff's this year.
KIA stole the original mission statement from Ford, building affordable transportation for all. While Ford transitioned into building bloated, overprice vehicles for the select privilege. Henry must be rolling over in his grave - such a shame.
Image that - I do know I will be upgrading my Escape when it comes off lease with a KIA. Also will be getting a Jeep Wrangler 4dr for myself. Done with Ford, along with my extended family.
The KIA TELLURIDE is beautiful, bold, boxy and $20,000 less the equivalent Explorer? talk about value which is one of the elements in the judging....it was a no brainer!!
What about the new mustang? Electric version, Ford has that.
Ford's "winning portfolio" and numerous culture values related to such may need some improvement if they're losing to KIA.

Gladiator got it right with a vehicle that does many things.
Kia has got the 10/100 warranty and they view design as sacred headhunting the best designers from around the world.
Ford deserves better senior leadership
But..but...Jim Hackett...but, but, Design Thinking ....uhhhh-uh... Ford is a tech company. Uh, clock-speed. Boil the problem down and all you can come back to is that Ford has a bunch of imbicil executives that do nothing but spin in circles and all us worker bees can do is change direction every other day to try to keep up. Wait, am I talking about Ford or the Lions. Huh, hard to tell.
It is embarrassing that Ford lost ti KIA. In the beginning KIA had a pretty bad reputation and there were jokes about buy one get one free so that with any luck you’d always have one that was running. That’s no longer the case. KIA seems to now build a solid vehicle and Ford has been declining. It’s hard to hold your place when other companies are stepping it up. It’s impossible when you’re declining and others are improving.

Please everyone spare me saying how much inferior Kia and Hyundai are, they are not inferior. We have one in the household because I was tired of my Fords breaking down all the time. If Ford wants to win they need to work on a lot harder at designing and building quality, and a whole lot less time having hired talking heads spout nonsense.
