hour sale at the used car lot. But this is the world we live in
This is real layoff news and real people. Let’s keep the stock tips off this board. We all know after four years of strategic leadership Nill Pay can only “keep it up” for 2 bucks. A 2 buck wonder. I was not with SWN will WJW was named CEO. What was the stock price on that day compared to today. It shows the formality and the value plus.
Can our leader overcome the forces of coronavirus to keep our stock afloat? It’s not looking good.
First time to post. Long time viewer of this site and this board. To all the people and there are likely a hundred plus employees posting about their thoughts and insights on our company. From the bottom of my heart THANK YOU. You have made my time with SWN bearable. We all know layoffs are anytime yet this site is my solace from The stress!

I got laid off on a Saturday. Right after my kids game. Wow.
Just left the Spring office. I’m so glad I didn’t get laid off this week, but putting in extra hours to get the bosses attention. Of course she left at noon, but who’s watching? It’s a paycheck and keeps food on the table and beers in the fridge.
The delay on layoffs has cleared. Expect layoffs soon (as early as next week). Be strong. Be ready.

Hey Adult in the room. We all get it. Current employees fed up and just waiting for layoff 2020. Hence all these amazing real and funny posts. All the posts are legit in one way or another. It’s truly amazing that so many employees post here. I seriously doubt that former employees post cause they have moved onto better things. I forgive you and hope you post real info!
I think the people that were laid off in 2016 have laughed their asses of on the way to the bank with the deal they got, compared to working at the dead end job SWN with the unhealthy, narcissistic leadership at this sh–pot of a company. If you’re still working there, the joke’s on you, SWNTARD!!!
All these people that post have insight. I was wrong to accuse current employees talking about layoffs and what they feel and observe. It’s stressful and I am just plain embarrassed about what I posted earlier. Please forgive me all my SWN friends!
No there isn’t any “lay-off buzz” and “leadership milling around”. Most people are just doing their jobs and waiting for the weekend. But how would you know anyways? You were given the boot in 2016. Get a job or a hobby. This can’t be healthy for you.
Speaking of “sniffing it out”, a PSA, avoid the 5th floor men’s room area. Not sure what happened.
Are you suggesting management is up to some trickery with this layoff? Kind of like that fake punt in the playoffs? The defense sniffed that one out before it happened!

In honor of those who made the cut, even though there were no layoffs, come celebrate in The Market with us. The cook is making egg frittata’s shaped like the number 4 to commemorate the 4 year anniversary of the day this company would never be the same. Today is the 4 year anniversary of “the speech” and the famous words “this will never happen again under my watch”. Well, come have a famous Way frittata under his watch this morning!

So who else goes down with the ship? Some serious power plays going on and more in the works. Me thinks we’ve only seen the beginning. Didn’t see it playing out this way! The volatility of our business is showing itself in a big way! Thought the unrest in the Middle East would save us for a bit, but wow. That’s one way to do it.
Was angry this morning getting laid off. Seeing the last post changed my heart and mind. Got laid off and am expecting an offer letter next week for a larger company with solid business plan and proven leadership (not what SWN is about). No more stress about layoffs! Giving my family a hug tonight and am thankful for them being supportive during this month time. Best wishes and now signing off for good from this board. Good luck and bye!
Great news! I got laid off and accepted a new job that starts next week. Didn’t get to keep all my $1.50 stock, but kept a roll of toilet paper from SWN which is worth more anyway. Thanks and buh bye!

No, because they aren’t. Layoffs would be announced in a press release just prior to occurring, which there hasn’t been. Stop listening to the disgruntled former employees.

I have it on good authority that layoffs are imminent. Lots of changes. New year, new changes. Severance is minimal at best. This is going to be a rough ride, folks!
I am getting a strong Yoda like sense that layoffs are this week (expecting it Tuesday senses the force).
