Has anybody in the maintenance department been affected by layoffs?

Yes. We’re losing jobs left and right. Lost 100+ on tie side last year. They just cut 35 from one of the big rail gangs. Going to cut another 25+ in July from the other large rail gang. I have 10 years in and am barely holding a job as it is. We have plenty contractors working though.......
No, tracks are so deteriorated in my area they cant afford less ppl
