Did anyone see the post on their facebook page today bragging about how full their Vegas store was due to their new consignment model? They showed like 4 photos of full shelves.
It's fair to say it didn't go over well.

Customers don't care how retail purchase products. Just stock the store with good merchandise at an affordable price.
Fry's business model is over 30 years old and isn't working anymore. They ran their business like a grocery store; high volume, low margins, MFRs specials on endcaps. Of course they offered a slew of snacks. Best Buy and the rest eventually found their grove and relentlessly beat them at their own game. No more Sunday and Wednesday ads in the paper, and no more sponsored advertisement in local free press.
Consignment model? This was the model that their old competition used and they put them all out of business 30 years ago. Is the old the new? Let time and history prove it.

Prob all the inventory from the Atlanta and CA stores that closed.
The first peep since November. Where are the Frys Guys? Shelves full of something does not equate to having something worth buying. The photos are depicting a facade, a movie set. Multiple rows of one item each. Many times the "row" is the same item! Waste of floor space. Pictures of pictures of stuff. Not a person in sight. All these photos do is just confirm and fuel speculation.
