  • Boeing: Profits above all _ 01 / 10 / 2020

https://www.seattletimes.com/opinion/letters-to-the-editor/boeing-profits-above-all/?utm_source=RSS&utm_medium=Referral&utm_campaign=RSS_opinion

Boeing suits would have us believe that the 737-MAX data they released
to Congress disparaging the Federal Aviation Administration, foreign regulators
and airline customers was the product of a small number of rogue employees.

The totality of the evidence says that this is absolutely false. It’s clear as day
That Boeing executives created and fostered a culture that put profits above
Everything else, including safety — a culture that encouraged employees to
Disdain anyone who might try to get them to apply reasonable rules designed
To prevent loss of human life.

We must not let them get away by Scapegoating lower-level employees.
Executives in Chicago are culpable and should be held to account.

Boeing Management Commits Mass Murder; No Bail Set

https://www.investors.com/news/beoing-737-max-shocking-internal-messages/?src=A00220&yptr=yahoo

The 150 pages of documents were turned over to regulators and
Congress at 7pm on Christmas Eve.

"They paint a deeply disturbing picture of the lengths Boeing was apparently
willing to go to in order to evade scrutiny from regulators, flight crews,
and the flying public, even as its own employees were sounding alarms.

"This airplane is designed by clowns, who in turn are supervised by monkeys,
" a company pilot said about the Boeing 737 Max in a message to a coworker
in 2016.

"I don't know how to fix these things…it's systemic. It's culture.
It's the fact that we have a senior leadership team that understand very little
about the business and yet are driving us to certain objectives,"
an employee wrote in June of 2018.

Boeing said Thursday it is confident “all of Boeing’s Max simulators are
functioning effectively” after repeated testing of simulators since the
messages were written.
As far as the simulators are concerned if there is something wrong,
We didn’t know about it, isn’t that why we have regulators? Do your job.

The communications “do in fact reflect the Boeing Company and our attitudes
toward outsiders, we are in business to make money we are who we need to be
In order to regain market dominance.
It is completely unacceptable for the Boeing Culture to be exposed to the general public, we pay an exorbitant amount to Lobbyists, Congress and by extension through the revolving door policy’s of this Government who place individuals in charge of the regulators. We can all benefit so long as you all, do your job.

The Congress and the regulators are paid to scrub the dirt from our white shirts
That is what we pay you for. You are not paid to think for, nor rebuke Boeing.
Do your job.
This is who we are; This is who we’ve been trained to be; We are Boeing.
