I think this is exactly what's going on. Fry's isn't a retailer any longer; it's a real estate company.
Hewlett Packard is in a similar spot, for instance the Apple Headquarters was acquired from Hewlett Packard.

Was just going to post about it. I live near there. Fry's takes a large foot print. I'm surprised someone hasn't looked at the Sunnyvale site. Maybe they will soon. Frys is done. We all know that. Its the little mom and pop shops like Central Computers that will make it.

it looks like Prologis already purchased Fry's Anaheim location back in September in an all-cash transaction but this article doesn't state who they purchased it from. Wonder if it was the same Caracol Ltd

Yup, good read. I've maintained for a while that Fry's is no longer in the electronics business, but has quietly entered the real estate business. This article seems to confirm some of that.
