The Iranian Students' Media Org has video of the plane going down. It was clearly on fire and dropping debris as it descended.

Now, the video is not clear. Could have been an engine fire, may have been a rocket.

Jordainian media is reporting it was shot down by Iranian defense systems.

Ukranian authorities originally made a statement of mechanical failure, they have since removed that statement from their website and replaced it with the cause is unknown.
