Thread regarding Union Pacific Corp. layoffs

Straight up comments.

Thanks to everyone who has left comments in the straight up articles on up online. Nice to see so many writing their real life experiences about the UP and what PSR is doing.

Might as well talk to a wall. They don't reply to any of the comments. It's just as usless as the employee engagement surveys they push out every few months. Nothing has changed, and nothing will.

It’s just a smokescreen the company is throwing out there to show some sort of interaction with the employees. someone probably said something about it in a meeting at some point and now random mangers will share their unfounded and tragically misguided ideas and thoughts and ignore the replies from those actually on the ground. It’s just surprising that they actually let the employees comment and still haven’t turned off the comment section like they usually do once a few post have to be deleted because they don’t toe the sunshine and rainbows line they are trying to sell everyone. Don’t be surprised if those that are posting aren’t being added to the unofficial list of people that will probably be harassed by their local management at some point for having dissenting opinions on PSR

Yeah its a real hoot reading all the whining comments. If its so bad that you can’t handle what the owners (shareholders) of the company want, then find a new job.

StraightUp truth sounds like a Christian rap group I wouldn’t listen to.

The straight up comments will not change anything. PSR will continue to destroy UP.

I enjoyed the comments as well. Nice to see others feel the same as I do. This company is going to lose the upper hand with their employees if they don’t watch it. People can only be treated bad for so long before the just start leaving and finding their jobs or fail to return from furlough.
