I still get paper checks and have gave them twice my bank info..BOA . Some of the new trucks are the single axle KENWORTHS ,But no radio or passenger seat is in it..Good luck if Central works for you, but Vol was bought out and we made much more money driving new trucks, will b leaving soon...#facts

This is such garbage. All you have to do is search the docket in the texas court systems. There is no filing.

I have direct deposit. So I don't know what this other guy is talking about. We going to blue cross and blue shields in june. The company has grown alot. I have looked and found no filings for bankruptcy. To other central freight ltl drivers, all I have to say is take care of your customers and they will take care of you! It's a pretty simple formula.

If the company was doing so well, why are they handing out Checks instead of Direct Deposit to our accounts? CFL in Waco in Bad Shape. I don't what you say. If you're not working there, you don't know c-ap. Management is Dishonest, c-ap for equipment, everything "fixed" on these trucks are half assed to cut costs. When management get his bonus, he buys Hot Dogs for everyone or doughnuts. Shady ass

What's NOT HONEST, the terminal manager in Waco told someone to change our 30 minute lunch break time to an hour lunch. None of the LTL drivers knew anything about this. When the drivers approached the Terminal Manager about the chenge, he said he knew nothing of it. Then later expressed that he had to do something to keep the drivers working. There was no acknowledgement or paperwork presented or signed off by any of the drivers in agreement to do such thing. As gar as I know, that's illegal to mess with someone's "time card" without agreeing to do by the employee. HR was notified immediately. That's a fact Jack

As a former Manager with CFL. At a cooperate meeting in NOV 2019 VP Mark Cupp told everyone in attendance And I quote that the Owner of CFL Jerry Moyes was spending a million dollars a week too keep the company afloat. At that meeting he also informed us that Jerry would be selling the company as soon as he can. But before selling he would need to close several terminals that were under preforming. Breaking the company up into three entities. The west coast which had the lowest revenue. The central which has moderate revenue. And the east coast which had the highest revenue. That is what the case was at the meeting in NOV 2019. On top of all that they still have equipment in use that has not been serviced in at least a year nor PM's even longer.

There has been no report for bankruptcy filing for central freight. If you do your research and look through Texas there is nothing reported for central freight bankruptcy.

CFL has acquired a carrier, purchased 85 2020 Freightliner sleeper units in addition to new Kenworth day cabs for city operations and opened two brand new facilities in Phoenix, AZ and Perris, CA, all in the past year. On top of that, we’re moving to Bluecross Blueshield for health insurance on the 1st of June. A lot of positive changes have been made, and that started with putting people in senior leadership positions that actually know how to lead. Jump on board! We’re hiring!

If the company is doing so great then why did they just lay off so many truck drivers and dockworker. Go check your facts before YOU put false information about a company that is supposed to be so great.

Yes they bought out. Volunteer express in Nashville. Another hurting company. Meant to be owned by employees. But owned by Quickway. It was sold at a real discount price. As volunteer was operating in the red since 2018. Their main source of revenue is uline of Atlanta. Mainly cheap lite freight. The have 12 terminals. Central is closing 2. Volt (volunteer) the equpt. Is VERY POORLY maintained . management is very poor. Their retirement is call ESOP. Now a lot of employees will lose what has been paid in. Due to Central's buy out. Neither company has made the list of 100 LTL companies. It is stated this is Central's hail Mary. Just like so many other LTL companies. Another one is ready to bite the dust. Poor pay scale. Rotten costly insurance. Central feels with their 48 terminals. And volunteers soon to be 10 terminals. The put themselves up the list with ODFL and plans on competing with them...... Not putting anyone or any company down this is what I know. And the writing is on the wall.....

This would make sense, as a supplier of goods to them they are considered a slow pay and we are waiting on payment for goods that were delivered in June of 2019. It is hard to get in touch with an actual person there and emails are not being responded to. If this is inaccurate or you do have the money to do purchase 86 new tractors why are you not paying suppliers?

Hahahaha underproducing former employee? Most likely. As above new equipment, new uniforms, new insurance and new image make us a threat for competition in 2020.

This post is absolutely false. Company is doing very well. In fact, they just purchased 86 brand new sleepers, 50 brand new day cabs, and investing money into their facilities. Please ignore this dishonest post.
