Yeah that in Seminole just got promoted to SAP planner and then a week later gets payed off!!!
What is the COC Severance offer?
Denver City got hit hard and I’ve heard of one in Seminole. Could think of a couple more in the DC office that could have used it. The Asset Manager being one of them.
People keep mentioning Denver because we now have an office in Denver, Colorado.
Where do I volunteer? I want out of this dumpster fire
Oh and the employees laid off in Denver city were all field employees. IE: Lease operators or pumpers whatever you want to call them. One woman has been laid off in Hobbs so far.
So far from what I have heard 7 laid off from Denver city, TX. Not sure why everyone keeps calling it Denver? Muleshoe had quite a few not sure how many. Anton got hit pretty hard as well as levelland. Sounds like Hobbs, NM and Carlsbad, NM are on the chopping blocks next. From what I was told only those who scored low on the last few months evaluations will be laid off. I am not too sure of Odessa/Midland or Andrews. I have not spoken to my contacts here yet. Everyone is in full panic mode though that is for sure.

4th floor (HR) conference rooms in GW5 are all booked all day Wednesday thru Friday. Hopefully it doesn’t take that long. Waiting s—s. Just get it over with.

Confirmed that people are already being walked out in Denver. Legacy APC that we’re begged not to take the VSP. Another day, another cluster f___.

Correct. Legacy APC will get the fat change of control severance if they are let go. They are protected for a 3 YEAR period following the date of acquisition. So, I think this will hit legacy OXY employees the most. I know most Legacy APC are hoping they are let go because of this. Good luck to everyone.
Lol f— anyone who celebrates layoffs cause “we’re gonna get rid of the people who bs too much.” You have more in common with those people than you do with Vicki and the McKinsey consultants she hired to do layoffs, stop being a bootlicker and show some solidarity for your fellow workers.
Legacy APC employees will get COC? Correct?
Oxy could start cleaning house with all of the employees who have had harassment and discrimination claims made against them. But I doubt that will happen, and they’ll protect those individuals, letting go of the quality employees, making for a truly unwelcome place to work after the dust settles. Anyone who’s let go should count their lucky stars.
I hope they don’t pull badge data and realize I’ve been hiding out in a stall in the men’s locker room with a but-t plug up my a$$ and a belt around my neck. Not sure if I can find another employer who’d pay me for this.
