What has become of such a great company. When JC sold to Devon, just like all of us he envisioned his Co. was in good hands. The Canadian portion sold for pennies on the dollar. I was a Devon loyalist, and if it was what was best for Devon then so be it. But it really appears that the co. is sliding.

That is the Devon way. Buy high and sell low. That is why we are in this mess.
GPM is rolling in his grave also. DVN overdrilled the Barnett, then dumped it. When they first bought Mitchell, they referred to the Barnett as the crown jewel. DVN is left with one property they operate, the Delaware, and the Feds control the throttle on that with their permitting and various regulatory issues.
