Seriously, why even bother and try to do better when being mediocre is not just accepted but encouraged?

Agree! This mgt chooses to follow thru what’s already laid out for them (ie nov layoffs) instead of to act or simply respond to an offer, alternative, or a “cry out”! Irony. It seems cold-hearted headers, non-strategic thinkers, and have no skill in recognizing talents. Beside, the staff did a lousy job in executing or practicing, whatsoever! It could get ‘em in trouble if one desires! A real disappointment!
Just a cursory glance at the C-Suite and level just below them is all the example you need.
