Thread regarding Lenovo layoffs

More layoffs in May

More layoffs in May. Of course they might be April or June. Lenovo will cut / lay-off / adjust their way to success. Remember US employees are paid far too much. Darn those employees. Would be so much more successful with just some executives and attorneys!

Bumped from @12rE0WWw-nxwu, wondering if anybody knows if this is true?

Folks, don't assume your contributions actually matter. Last year they dumped many developers who had frankly saved Lenovo's bacon on countless occasions. One day, the inconvenience of having to pay you will tip the scales.

Lenovo DCG COO just posted the most ridiculous video about international “Women’s Day” - he stumbled laughed and clearly was not taking this seriously. Then said he appreciates the day because he once had an incident with death threats from women and needed protection. What a loser.

They will continue to lose before they gain anything, frankly. HPE just announced a creation of a sale acquisition team. Good luck. The titanic hit the iceberg!

Looks like Lenovo Data Center Group is making some FY year end employee cuts. Confirmation they are cutting folks in the software alliances team. Senior executives are fighting each other at HQ. DCG is bleeding Chinese money. Top leaders are trying to sell the company and getting turned away. It’s a mess. If you’re an employee watch out.

Wow. Spadecaller has one of the most accurate descriptions of the company I have ever seen. Standing ovation for your insight and verbal acumen.

This company is a thinly-disguised Chinese sweat shop. They want the absolute best workforce for below industry average cost and then squeeze as much productivity out of them as possible. China likes to be told how wonderful everything is, so management sets asinine goals for the U.S. to hit to please the Chinese overlords. Management is conditioned to tell the rank and file how smart and talented they are to stroke their ego and make them think they are a valued part of the company in exchange for long hours, nightly meetings, and laughable pay increases. They lie to your face about job growth, opportunities, and expansion to keep morale just barely high enough to keep things going for another quarter or two. If (when) goals are not met, it's mostly the competent, capable people who are blamed and laid off as spineless management postures excuses to shift the blame from themselves onto others. I've actually heard an SVP once confess that he "Had no idea what he was doing." And these types of people are supposed to be revered as great leaders? They are absolute muppets.

Seriously? The question is if there will be layoffs?

New hire?

FYI, Lenovo has had layoffs every year for as far back as we can remember.

The only hope is that it is an election year (smaller layoffs) , China trade deal, and economy doing well.
