@4gqk Good point, I stand corrected. List of Said 66 stores? Are they Sears & Kmart mixture? Or just Sears?

Noted in another thread – the important part is the stores this was sent to – I see 66 listed in the email copy. If as the email says, ALL asms will be affected then these will be the ONLY stores remaining. Think about it.

AND? WHO CARES???????? Stop worrying about how ASM's are being Paid. That's as critical, as how the waiters/waitresses were being Paid on the Titanic. In 6 Months, all of this will be a moot point. Sort of like a passenger on the Titanic can complain about the menu or whatever but in A Few Hours, all of that was a moot point. Same concept. This is a MORIBUND (google it if you don't Know the word) company. It's like discussing the last meal of a prisoner on Death row. Interesting topic to discuss, I guess, but will be meaningless very soon.

What matters is only which stores are closing and when. How they Pay the employees of a store closing in 3 Months is about as interesting or significant as what The Bar does with my empty Beer Bottles after Closing Time. Not important, in the great scheme of things.........

Now what would be interesting if they try to change your pay and not much would change bc they are currently clocking in and out to record time.

Who ever posted this , can you specify Sears or Kmart format.
ASM's in a Sears store are salary.
APM's are already clocking in and out.
So which is it?

K-mart ASM’a have been clocking in for 3 years now 48 hours. We are classified as Salary Non-Exempt. That is changing to Hourly Benefits Plus, don’t know exactly what the changes will be.
