Look up ENRON if you want to learn about the dangers of investing in a single stock. Many of ENRON's employees learned that lesson the hard way. Very sad story.

$760k investment in Allscripts? If you invest that amount of money in google, apple, amazon or even Microsoft, you can retire now.

Good luck hoping the stock rebound. The company is struggling just to operate without any means of increasing revenue. The applications they try to sell are outdated and have horrible workflows. This is causing many clients to leave once there contracts expire. The only reason to hold the stock is you can sell when you need a tax write off for list investments.

Will the stock go back up soon? I paid $76.80/share for 10,000 shares back in 2000 almost 20 years ago. I am hoping this will be the year I will finally make some money.

The offshore heart of Allscripts should have a stake driven through it. Real life vampires.

If you are the heart of Allscripts, the company must be dead. The stock is down, the lever of support is down and client retention is down. The only thing going up is the executives salaries and the license fee is clients have to pay.
