Heard bonuses will payout at end of February. Can anyone confirm and know how bonus amount will be determined for legacy APC?

I'm guessing most of you were not around at Oxy during the end of 2015 and 2016. VSP were offered to avoid layoffs in the downturn and LTI (long-term stock incentives) were given instead of bonuses along with small pay raises. Oxy always tries to look out for their employees and their stockholders. It might not be what you want but they try to be fair with the resources they have.
The information came from team lead in a meeting yesterday. I don’t think he would have any reason to spread misinformation. Also email went out today regarding layoffs. They are letting people go this week begging today.
What about stock. Do some or most Legacy Oxy typically get stock?
Meh. Whoever told you that doesn’t know what he’s talking about. Or, you are intentionally spreading lies and misinformation. There will be a bonus and there will be a merit program.
We were told today that Oxy Legacy shouldn’t expect a raise or a bonus. We must protect the sacred dividends paid to our shareholders.

What’s the typical year end salary raise percentage?
Bonuses are communicated mid-February and paid out late February. Salary raises and promotions are communicated separately in late March and they become effective the first pay cycle in April.
Depends on grade but 15-30% target, most people with 20% and recent years have been 1.25x target with decent rating. Incentives on top of that in some cases from 0-50% of salary, most getting around 12% if you get one and no one knows why one might get one, all in HR hands.

What if you got a rating and bonus that was greater than 150% last year? If the pay you out less that could trigger COC.
APC will get 150% of our target. For staff level IT positions, that is 20%. 1.5 of our target is about average based on the past several years.
It would be nice if OXY HR could tell us our new grade and bonus target sometime soon.
There should be a mandatory day of CAT scans for all Oxymorons to weed out the brainless among us. And those of us legacy APC folks who count ourselves “lucky” enough to still have a job can take the day off.
We did not ask to be bought out, so yes, concerned about bonus after working hard the entire year to be a high performer. Luckily APC protected us so that we still receive bonus payouts. At the oil prices we’ve experienced in 2019, APC would have generated significant FCF, so we did our job. People are out of work in the industry? Maybe if they are too stubborn to move. Hit the road and you’ll have a job in no time.
I have heard Anadarko people get bonuses based on the sales agreement. Someone told me 1.5 times their last few average. I agree we are lucky to have a job, but I think those from APC have one more payout coming. Must be nice to know you have something to depend on.
So many people losing their jobs in this industry and you are concerned about your bonus. The bonus, if there is one, is meaningless compared to being employed.
Heard no bonus this year.
