Has anyone heard rumors regarding layoffs within the Suddenlink systems in 2020? I've seen writing on the walls & it keeps getting bolder but of course management denies knowing anything.

I think the plan all along was to have the company be 100 percent contractor ran. They started treating us all like contractors from day one of being moved over to ats. When someone would quit they wouldn’t hire anyone to replace them and they would just bring in more contractors. Managers leaving in droves, shops with 50 techs dwindling down to 10 or 15 and then all the layoffs. Was a long sad ride to the end.
I have seen the list for the west. Former team be prepared it's coming this week.

If so, please post the job positions and give a heads up.
We lost 3 OSP here in Conroe tx, so far I’m still here but it’s getting thin. Complete contractor force is what I think is coming.
They can offer 10 million for small business relief for Covid on April 23rd, but they cannot afford to keep their own workers? Bless the families.

My wife got laid off today she’s been with for 18 years. They kept the new employees.
Yes my husband just got laid off today in TX. His own boss in NYC wasn't aware and also fears he's done too. Laid off through internal text messaging till HR could catch up. Covid 19 was the reasoning
Management sure has been leaving in droves.Maybe its a sign, who knows...
Hopefully the Suddenlink foot print will be sold to Mega Broadband
