Thread regarding General Electric Co. layoffs

Daily MGMT, growth rooms, policy deployment

Be warned, Larry will use his Danaher past to influence GE. Daily MGMT, growth rooms, and policy deployment are simply tools used to reduce employee empowerment and micromanage employees to death. Furthermore, this is all for show and politics. So while you are bending of backwards for these meetings you won't have time to get the work done they are intended to measure. Be warned, this is worse then your typical GE nonproductive meeting. Just imagine the CEO dropping in unannounced every once in a while to tell you what you are doing wrong and to make sure you are following the process to maximize nonproductive time. Believe me, your never doing well. The best you can do is steer clear of these meetings.

The stock price of GE looked like Danaher when neutron Jack ran the place. Ask the old timers if working for Jack was ideal. Trust me, he had his flaws. Be prepared for Mass layoffs to balance the stock price...same as Jack would have done. Then you will have this wallstreet growth room garbage with no one left to do the work.
