Well belvidere plant manager now NOT leaving. he's either stupid or got some good inside information. hopefully good info. Time will tell
The production manager at our ice cream plant in St George, Utah quit before our 2 week plant shutdown for the holidays, so she's gone now too. Interesting that both of our managers are now gone LOL.
I agree with the below post. All Managers, Directors & Supervisors from all departments in Deans will be let go and replaced by the new owners loyal team. It's the only way those from Deans that transfer over and stay will do what is directed and expected of them. You keep the old boss's and you will have those issues where some will think it's still party time.
Funniest part though, every Manager I've spoken too from different plants from Production all the way through Sales thinks they will keep their job's and things will continue from one day to the next as if nothings changed.
Deans Foods managers and supervisors are "dead men walking" new company will bring in their management to do it their way. Deans management has failed. New company will not let failures run the plants.
ExActly. We need to support our local community 12.30
Some plants are bound to be bought by companies that will keep operating them and will likely want to employ most of the current workers. But which plants those will be and what the terms of employment will be (pay, benefits, etc.) are still unknowns.
You don't need inside information to understand you should be looking for other employment. Our company filed for chapter 11. It's not going to help any of us to be optimistic about the future of Dean's.
