I’m afraid vulnerability vectors are significantly more complex than that.
So, how does malware end up on a hosting center site? If proper data center standards are in place and they are adhered to this should not happen. Somebody screwed up - and the supervisors/management is also to blame for allowing it to happen.
Not sure if that down was the reason we all received this bizarre mandatory learning module today about Hosting Change Management. Someone got in trouble.
