Thread regarding McDermott International Inc. layoffs

By next year, it all might be a memory. The Hedge Fund derivative guys smell blood.

What happens when there's just no more cash available ? And you cant borrow another dime ? You bust the joint out, that's what.

I expect them to ransack and sell off everything in pieces starting with Lummus and finishing with everything that isn't bolted down at the new headquarters at Eldridge.

Not much furniture though cause it's an open floor plan. I expect vendors that we have stiffed to show up one day soon with pick axes, shovels and other sharp implements.

Buying the company and breaking it up is what current management tried to do. And failed. VC money has already saturated too many markets with bad results so they are pulling back. And failure rate in EPC is usually high but climbing.

You clearly have no idea what you're talking about judging by the erroneous observation that the open floor plan equals 'not much furniture'.

If there were any more furniture no one would be able to stand beside my cube and hold impromptu project meetings.
