Thread regarding Cabela's Inc. layoffs

Are we doing better or worse now?

I wonder what other people think: since the acquisition, has the situation improved or worsened?

I personally don't see much difference one way or another, but that could just be me.

General attitude is tepid at best, Houses for sale on every block and street, very little opportunity for gainful employment. I would say that our situation has improved,

The founding family is BETTER. There still not done counting the money from the sale. While their community stands in ruin.

Question depends on whether your gainfully employed currently.

Really, how can we be doing better,. Everytime we turn around we take on step forward and the two steps back.
Granted we have had some limited job replacement, but not enough to replace the hemoeage of positions and talent when the acquisition of basically the sole employer of our community.
So in response to your question, no we re not even remotely better. We have not even hit bottom yet. Our area is still in a freefall.
