What will open 2020 layoffs season?

What do you think? Will it be Schenectady again? Maybe Greenvile? Something else?

If they would offer decent incentives to retire, they could probably hire at every location across the company. Instead, they keep paying the BOD their quarterly bonuses while the stock stays in the gutter. Check SEC filings.

Layoffs with start again right before next the next contract, then again the company will pluck something away from the membership and raise healthcare again. I will Ride it out till McDonald’s looks like a better option for employment. I do say the salary and insurance is getting pretty close to McDonald’s salary these days.

No such thing as a layoff season. Can happen any time the company feels it is warranted.

Greenville needs to hire so the buddies are protected during the next layoffs. It’s a numbers game for survival.

VRIP and early retirement packages will be coming again in Q1 in Gas CC. Usually a precursor to layoffs.

Sales to airbus are way up though so it may be not as bad in the long run if we keep delivering quality.

Lafayette will be next. Aviation.

We were talking about it before Christmas, but the ongoing Boeing troubles that made the news this week will help seal our fates.

Salary and Global Operations will be the ones hit especially as more of them get moved to be Genpact employees as eventually all that will end up in India or other low compensation places.

Schenectady is actively hiring hourly production and trades workers, 2-400 production jobs to be added by spring. So no layoffs in Schenectady.
