Aviation in New Hampshire started lay offs.
If they would offer decent incentives to retire, they could probably hire at every location across the company. Instead, they keep paying the BOD their quarterly bonuses while the stock stays in the gutter. Check SEC filings.
Layoffs with start again right before next the next contract, then again the company will pluck something away from the membership and raise healthcare again. I will Ride it out till McDonald’s looks like a better option for employment. I do say the salary and insurance is getting pretty close to McDonald’s salary these days.
No such thing as a layoff season. Can happen any time the company feels it is warranted.
Greenville needs to hire so the buddies are protected during the next layoffs. It’s a numbers game for survival.

Schenectady is actively hiring hourly production and trades workers, 2-400 production jobs to be added by spring. So no layoffs in Schenectady.
