Thread regarding Dun & Bradstreet (D&B) layoffs

This is the wrong approach

Why does this management believe that laying off its best and most knowledgable employees will solve many problems created by years of their own lousy decisions? Has this ever actually worked?

Shouldn't the simple fact that there have been no substantial improvements after any of the layoffs be enough to prove how wrong this approach is?

As a person who lost there job early last year, I hope the company goes into a downward spiral. They did not care about their dedicated employees one iota. Karma will be a b!

Not only are they doing that, but turning around and hiring unqualified people, anyone with a pulse/ to drive sales positions: more butts in the seats to field their calls. Which is hurting the opps of the veteran sales people. Completely trading quality for quantity.

I don’t think improvement in bottom line is a true measure of success. Who knows what adjustments they made to make it look good. The true measurement is increase in sales and revenues. Honestly, they should clean up from the top to make sustainable operational improvement. They got rid of strong leaders and the bad leaders are still there

Substantial improvements? The bottom line looks pretty good to them right about now... they were able to do more with less while able to cut the fat sooo...
