Thread regarding Boeing Co. layoffs

So we can safely assume layoffs are on the way, plus continued outsourcing to Ukraine/Russia, "Progresstech"

Greedy directors don't care about Boeing or that it's a historical company.

They just want to line their pockets.

Union busting (e.g. union busting in Seal Beach)

continued outsourcing of jobs (BDC in Ukraine, Moscow)

Outsourcing HR

Outsourcing all sorts of stuff leading to poor quality airplanes.

Time to leave Boeing.

China's state-owned plane maker conducted the sixth and final flight test of
its C919 narrow body jet on Friday, marking a milestone in the program,
which aims to develop a domestic competitor to Boeing and Airbus.

The Shanghai-headquartered jet maker is aiming to obtain Chinese certification
for the C919 in 2021, a delay from its initial target of 2020, according to Reuters.
Comac officials said the date is subject to regulatory approval and the aircraft’s
safety remains a top priority. {Slow and steady wins the Race}
The C919 completed its maiden test flight in 2017.

  • Epic kerfuffle

These two crashes exposed the worst of Boeing and the FAA.
Under now-fired CEO Dennis Muilenburg,
Boeing attempted to control the narrative by establishing false timelines.
These actions created confusion and antagonized the regulator.
Likewise, a lack of transparency in providing information to pilots and
airlines built on the mistrust.
