Word on the street from some very credible people is RR is out early in the new year. Should take KM with him as he walks out the door. This will hopefully bring some new blood into the company and renewed vision. MJGA

Shaygan Kheradpir is available. Or some garbage detritus from Cisco. That would be fitting since we've recently hired garbage people from Juniper.
I want to put my two-cents out for the first time on this board because I think it is warranted to say that MJ has been awesome. He's an excellent communicator, has vision, communicates that vision and then follows-up on his communications. Though I'm low on the totem pole so I most certainly don't know first-hand, he seems to execute on his commitments to the field.
This looks more like a wish! I dont see any evidence of this happening in any time soon. May be he isn't really bad and it's the CEO staff (his direct reportees) that might need a clean up!
If we are going with wishful thinking then why not go all in and let the Mist takeover be complete. Have SH take over as CEO.
Why was SK kicked out?
RR hasn't been great for JNPR valuations but I'm more concerned with who might replace him. It's definitely possible to do worse (i.e. the previous CEO). Unfortunately, when your brand is tarnished, you won't be recruiting from top tier talent. The only way for JNPR to move forward is for the board to get lucky with a new strong CEO who is willing to clean house on the entire exec staff.
Sounds more like wishful thinking to me...
