Thread regarding Alliance Data Systems Corp. layoffs

Not being dramatic

Clearly, something is still going on behind the scenes. Our site is suddenly getting a face-lift with items that have been on a to-do list for years. When we had the money, we didn't do it. Now we're cutting "costs" and spending thousands of dollars on repairs and aesthetic updates.

Why would we doing all of these upgrades when trying to keep costs low? They aren't cheap upgrades either. These are big, costly projects.

There is no hiring at the sites. We have lost so many associates since the layoffs and no one has been replaced. Each associate we lose will have a replacement in the Philippines. There will be no one in the states.

What will they do with the left overs that didn't leave on our own? Sell? Merge? Send us to work from home? It makes no sense to have a site with no people working there. So far, there will be no open positions until (this is as far out as it goes) April in Colorado.

Well wonderful management, first of all, your spelling of "Ludacris", is misspelled. The correct spelling would be ludicrous. And it would not need to be capitalized in the content of your sentence. So just another example of how "management " have slept their way to the top. Giving special favors, clearly not through education. Oh, such special uneducated management. My dog could manage better than these. Well, am sure they'll all be gone soon, just as we will be. Hey, sharpen up that resume, you're gonna need some help in spelling, among other things. : ) .

I don't see management harassing anyone here? In fact, I see no one being harassed by anyone? Just a bunch of current and ex employees worried about the future of the company, their future, their friends and family's future that are still with the company. All valid concerns. Someone is in management and harassing because they wanted to be successful within the company they chose to apply at and accept work? That's a Ludacris remark.

at one location they have the older folks separated from the younger crowd on purpose
Yes they practice ageism and s-xism
There have been past lawsuits against them for this.
If folks start a new site where management is not on here we should band together with what we witnessed and report them. There is power in numbers.

Honestly I would for sure find another job.
That is the worst company to work for
They lie so much! Just look at the demographics
They target hiring folks they can exploit.
There are so many companies that will
Value you, pay you what you are worth
And have the decency to give you advance notice they are going to fire you.

Believe me, many companies don't operate like that. It's not layoff its firing, poor planning and greed.
The only job creation they have now is to replace the ones that exodus out before being abruptly fired. They just need a breathing pulse
No real job growth going on there.
One location had a hiring class then one month later fired over 100 this year. So don't believe them.yes there will be more firings.
They had 20,000 employees now under 9,000
So mathematically Yes More firings to come.
They only want folks there now for a heart beat or pulse for they are what leadership calls, "fillers",
Believe me terrible pay terrible treatment of employees you can see by them
Harassing other folks on this site,
Leave because all folk are doing is helping leadership get more better severance packages and gifts. Make them tank they stink

Leave folks alone dirty leadership.
This is the only layoff site where leadership stays on here. Many many companies have this site and management doesn't harass their employees on this site.
Why is leadership scared? Because folks that are scared have a lot to hide.
That place needs investigated by the banking regulations and the eeoc.

This is my first post but whatever. I think we have the right to post whatever we want and of course they all have the same thoughts/feelings.... We are scared about our future with the company. I want to work for the company. I'm there for a reason. I want the company to be prosperous. Sadly, I'm scared that's going to happen. if you don't like this site or what's posted, go away. What value are. You adding but just griping about the threads? Loser.

They can upgrade now because they don’t have to pay employees they saves a bucket load With no bonus and most people got fired lots got fired with trumped up charges as well as a lot of over 55 got fired. This company probably isn’t going any place ! They ha e to many credit cards to close but the wait times on the phones are ridiculously long and their customer service s—s really bad because they got rid of those whom were there along time and were paid more for cheap labor. They get what they pay for
