Greenwood Lake can't go to Oakland but they can go to West Nyack... When is the lease over?
The reason why Oakland techs are working in the Lodi systems.Is because Oakland has no work. The only reason you see a contractor in a Oakland system is because a Oakland tech is kicking back a job. If they lay off ant techs where do you think they will come from.

It's Greenwood Lake a union shop ?? Other wise they can't report to Oakland, Oakland is a union shop so you better call the ibew and get the process started other wise don't let the door hit you guys.
Once the lease is up in greenwood lake they are being moved to Oakland as well. Consolidate save money it only makes sense For upper management.

This is out of the the first nj contract and from there on they’ve only gotten stronger language .

So if they lay-off guys and they get more contractors say hello to one he’ll of a lawsuit . How would they explain how they are handling their customers ? Just stop with the god damn negativity the company does enough of that . And another thing as a 25 year guy don’t bash the Dolans . They were far from perfect but they never treated employees or customers the way this outfit does .

If that's what they plan to do, it's going to happen. And your union will do nothing. They have no power to prevent a layoff. That union can do nothing about it. Check the laws first before stating nonsense. The plans for how they are restructuring the former Cablevision-systems have been drawn up long before the Dolan family left the building. Plans also involving unions are in the discussions every time any company, anywhere get bought out. Remember Jimmy D having a tantrum because Drahi made a deal with the union in Brooklyn before the Dolans had officially handed over the keys? It's a fact. Unions cannot tell a company how to run its business.

Union or no union, what they did was decided a long time ago. The union did NOT save anyone's job, period! The plans have been in place and were exacted as that union stood by helpless.

A union it's there to protect your job , not to dictate to the company what shops to close or keep open you guys are mo–ns . Lucky we are a union shop other wise we'll be reporting to Parsippany like Lodi osp , i bet you they wish they were in our union now!!!
A union can’t tell a company how to run a business. They can close whatever they decide to close and open whatever they want to open.
